BURMA KIPLING Peacefully surrounded by her family, Burma Kipling passed away on June 25, 2002, at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 61. Besides her husband Jim, she leaves to mourn her passing, son Jeff; grandson Keenan; stepdaughters, Joyce and Yvonne (Bonnie) sisters, Minerva (Bunny), Carolyn (Sissy), Gloria and Doreen; brothers, Vincent and Douglas; plus numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. She was predeceased by her son Philip and brother Carl. Burma will be always remembered for her kind and generous nature. She believed in living within Gods will for her life. "When through the portal of Glory Ive passed I shall be changed to His image at last I shall be like Him in beauty to shine, Ever to live in His presence divine" Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28 at Waves of Glory Church, 364 Furby St., with Pastor Edwin Wiebe officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will take place at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Burmas memory to the Diabetes Association of Manitoba.
